  4. Enjoy beautiful Ottawa
After all, it’s not all about work. Canada’s capital region has museums, heritage buildings and park spaces to explore — a great place to bring your family!

  5. Get even more from your week
Several additional learning opportunities are being offered by partner organizations before, during and after the meeting.

What’s new this year?

  1. The electronic syllabus will be available in advance of the Annual Clinical Meeting. As a registered delegate, you will be able to access this document using your meeting registration ID number, which can be found with your registration confirmation. The SOGC will also provide a USB key on-site.

  2. Attendees will need to fill out a global evaluation form in order to qualify for
continuing medical education credits. An email will be sent towards the end of the conference enabling you to complete this form and obtain your credits.

  3. Additional opportunities to see oral abstracts. Since it can be difficult for all delegates to attend a single long presentation session, we will also present some oral abstracts at other times throughout the meeting.

  4. The Resident Professional Development Program and Medical Student Program will be scheduled for one day, rather than held over several days. This will enable participants to attend a more diverse selection of other scientific sessions.

  5. Name badges with bar codes
Many exhibitors will have bar code readers available at their booths. With your permission, booth staff will scan the bar code on your badge to obtain the information as it appears on your registration form.
